Left Off
Privacy
Draft for review. This page is a plain-English draft and is not legal advice. It will be checked before Left Off launches.
Left Off keeps a short note about where you stopped in your games. Here's exactly what we store and what we don’t.
What we store
- Your email address and your password (the password is stored scrambled, so we can’t read it).
- A display name. It starts as the first part of your email, and you can change it in Settings.
- The names and platforms of the games you add.
- Your text notes about where you left off, and when you saved them.
- Any photos you choose to add, like a map or a screenshot.
What we don’t store
- No audio. We never record or keep your voice.
- We don’t track where you are, and we don’t read your contacts.
- We don’t connect to your game consoles or game accounts.
How the voice note works
When you tap the mic, your browser's own speech-to-text feature turns your words into text. Only that text comes to Left Off, and you can edit it before saving.
Some browsers send the sound to their maker's speech service to do this (for example, Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari). That part is handled by your browser, under its own privacy rules. If you’d rather skip it, you can always type your note instead.
Who can see your stuff
- Only you. Your games, notes and photos are locked to your account.
- Photos are kept in private storage and shown to you through short-lived links.
- Left Off runs on Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase), which stores the data for us. They don’t get to use it for their own purposes.
We don’t sell your data
We don’t sell, rent or trade your information. We don’t show ads, and we don’t share your notes with anyone.
Cookies and sign-in
We save a sign-in token in your browser so you stay logged in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting your data
- You can delete single notes or whole games at any time.
- In Settings, "Delete my account and data" removes your account, games, notes and photos for good. Some copies may stay in backups for a short time before they're cleared.
Kids
Left Off isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
